POWERMIC W/ MIC TO MIC DAISY CHAIN CBL The PowerMic is a sophisticated microphone designed specifically for videoconferencing applications; it electronically locates the person speaking anywhere within a full 360o radius. The PowerMic does this by taking the combined signal from four microphones inside the PowerMic enclosure to provide a steerable pickup pattern. The microphone can intelligently steer its beam instantaneously to the current speaker, without any glitches. Up to eight PowerMics can be connected to the iPower 9000 Series systems, in two series of four cascaded microphones (also known as daisy-chaining) to provide a bigger pickup range. Because of the algorithmic intelligence built into iPower's audio systems, cascading multiple PowerMics does not lead to the detrimental effects found when cascading normal directional microphones. The iPower 600 Series can connect up to four PowerMics in a single line to provide addition audio coverage and will automatically turn off the integrated microphone on the system. In "installed" environments, additional audio processing equipment can be used in conjunction with customized audio and microphone set-ups.
